I know most of us probably had losing weight at the top of our New Year's resolution list.  Well, it's two months left in the year -- did you achieve and maintain your goal?  If not its probably because losing weight is not a New Year's resolution its a commitment to a life style change.  Avoid the following 12 diet mistakes below and success will be yours.

 

 

8 Diet Mistakes

  1. Relying on Crash Diets - trains your metabolism to slow down and burn calories slowly.
  2. Skipping Breakfast - can result in an insatiable hunger the rest of the day
  3. Losing Track of your Snacks - if your counting calories and excluding the snacks...can be a contributing factor to not loosing desired weight
  4. Not Snacking at all - nuts are a good source protein
  5. Loading up on Low-Fat- remember low-fat doesn't mean low calorie
  6. Sipping to many calories - some fancy coffees and alcoholic beverages have more than 500 calories
  7. Drinking to little water - water is essential for burning calories
  8. Ditching Dairy - the body burns more
